Why does everything always have to be so hard? Why can’t anything just be easy, just once?

I submitted for quotes from that site. So far I have only talked with two of the companies, but they both have a hard time believing what I have will total as much as what the other company quoted.
They have both quoted me, based on the weight survey done by the first company, at 6k as a high estimate. They both believe it will be less than 4k. So I’m going with one of them.
To use a company that isn’t recommended by the relocaters I have to pay for it myself and then get reimbursed. So it still means I have to come up with around 6k initially, but I can pay that back within a month.
I guess you have run into some speedbumps in your planning?
Of course. Something always goes wrong with everything I do.
The moving company seems to believe it is going to cost 11k to move my stuff across the country. I really don’t think I have that much.
Ultimately that means I have to come up with about 6k somewhere to cover all of the other expenses of the move, and I’m fresh out of money trees.
It really can’t cost that much to move a one bedroom apartment. That sounds crazy to me.
